South Side Restaurants Participating in Devour Indy’s Summerfest
Devour Indy - the greater Indianapolis area’s premier dining experience - is back with Summerfest.
A handful of south side restaurants are participating with ‘Devour’ menus.
Devour Indy Summerfest runs from August 19th - September 1st.

‘Launch Johnson County’ Being Unveiled by Franklin Chamber of Commerce
Launch Johnson County is revving up the entrepreneurial spirit in Franklin! Spearheaded by the Franklin Chamber of Commerce, the initiative is backed by a $35,000 grant from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Over the next 10 months, local entrepreneurs can dive into workshops, pitch competitions, and networking events.
With support from Franklin College and Edinburgh leaders, the program aims to unify efforts across Johnson County, providing mentorship and resources to both new and established businesses. Don't miss the kickoff on September 10 at the Garment Factory in Franklin!
Airport Day at Greenwood Airport This Weekend!
Indy South Greenwood Airport is hosting a free, family-friendly Airport Day on August 24 from 10 AM to 3 PM! Explore WWII aircraft, enjoy live reenactments, flight simulators, and more. Kids ages 8-17 can enjoy free Young Eagle flights, while paid helicopter and aircraft rides are also available. Plus, flight schools will be on hand for those eager to take to the skies!

Fruitful Frog Market & Organic Juicery Coming to Franklin This Week
Fruitful Frog Market & Organic Juicery is opening in downtown Franklin this week. It will offer a variety of clean and natural products, from organic juices to farm-fresh eggs, goat cheese, and supplements. The store aims to make healthy living more accessible while also supporting small businesses by renting out kitchen space and hosting health classes in its meeting room.
Cousins Subs Open at NE Corner of Emerson and County Line
There’s a new sub shop in town, opening at the northeast corner of County Line and Emerson just north of Kroger.
In Friday’s newsletter, we noted that Bibibop, Swig, and Mochinut were opening in this strip. Cousins Subs is another confirmed business that has joined them and is open now, ready to serve you!

Whiteland Farmer’s Market
The Whiteland Farmer’s Market is tomorrow (Tuesday, August 20th) at the Johnson County Public Library - Clark Pleasant branch. The market runs from 530-730pm.
Pickleball 101
Pickleball 101 begins Tuesday at 6:30pm! If you're new to the game or looking to build your skills, this is the perfect opportunity. Experienced players will explain the rules and basics in a non-competitive environment. Join in at 2722 S. Honey Creek Road, Greenwood, and look for the Pickleball Bus!
Bingo at the Artcraft
Bingo at the Artcraft, with all proceeds going to Franklin Heritage, Inc. and The Historic Artcraft Theatre. At 7:00 p.m. the games begin, with a variety of cash, gift cards and other prizes available. $20.00 for a 6 face card/10 games, plus a bonus game. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. The Artcraft has theater seating, so we recommend you bring your own clipboard and a dauber. Clipboards and daubers will be available for purchase, as well. There is limited table seating available, for $30, including the cost of the game.
The Artcraft concession stand and bar will be open, and highlighters and clipboards will be available for purchase, or bring your own.
