Shine Bright in Franklin’s Lighted Holiday Parade

The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is calling for participants for the Lighted Holiday Parade on December 7 at 5:30pm during the Downtown Holiday Lighting event. All floats and vehicles must be illuminated. Register by November 27 through the Chamber office or their website. Join this beloved annual tradition and help light up Franklin!

Center Grove Trojans Charge to Semistate

Center Grove Trojans triumphed over Warren Central 23-15 in the Class 6A regional, advancing to their seventh straight semistate! The win marks their third consecutive victory over the Warriors and fifth in six seasons. Up next, Center Grove (8-4) will face No. 4 Brownsburg on Friday at home. Good luck to the Trojans!

Southport Soccer Soars to Historic Heights

Shoutout to the Southport Boys Soccer Team, who were recognized during the November board meeting, for an amazing season! With 11 wins, they secured the IHSAA Sectional #7 title, their first-ever Regional Championship, and made it to the Final Four. They also finished 2nd in Conference Indiana and set a record with five players named All-Conference. Congrats on a great season!

Greenwood Marching Woodmen Shine at State Finals

The Greenwood Marching Woodmen struck a high note again, earning 2nd place in the ISSMA Class B State Finals on Nov. 9! This marks their second consecutive year achieving 2nd place in their class. With a history of excellence, including a 1st place win in 2018, the Marching Woodmen have consistently ranked among the top since 2017. Bravo to Greenwood’s musical powerhouse!
