WAMMfest Returns to Craig Park This Saturday

Greenwood’s biggest summer festival is back! WAMMfest 2025 kicks off Saturday, August 16th from noon to 8:30pm at Craig Park, celebrating Wine, Art, Music, and Microbrew all in one vibrant event. Guests can sip from top Indiana wineries, shop unique artisan booths, enjoy award-winning craft beers, and groove to live music from Phil Pierle, Jai Baker 3, That 90s Band, and The Spazmatics. Hosted by the Sertoma Club of Greenwood, all net proceeds go back into the community. For more details and to buy your tickets, check out their website!

Center Grove Celebrates 228 AP Scholar Award Winners

Big congratulations are in order for 228 Center Grove High School students and graduates who earned 2025 AP Scholar Awards! These hardworking Trojans tackled rigorous Advanced Placement courses and exams, with an impressive 75% scoring a 3 or higher. Honors included 101 AP Scholars, 35 AP Scholars with Honor, and 92 AP Scholars with Distinction. Way to make Center Grove proud—you’re setting the bar high for academic excellence!

Co-op Club: Open Gym at CPA

Beat the heat and let the kids burn off some energy at the Co-op Club’s Open Gym! Kids can build with blocks, shoot hoops, climb, jump, or just enjoy some coloring time in a safe indoor space. Cost is $5 per child or $8 for two children (cash or Venmo accepted), with registration at the door. No co-op membership is required—everyone is welcome to join the fun!

Clay Day: Apple Dish – Home School Art Day

Kick off the school year with a creative twist at Homeschool Clay Day. Kids will learn basic clay techniques as they shape and design an apple-shaped dish. Cost is $15 per artist, and both online registration and walk-ins are welcome while supplies last.

KidsCraft at MashCraft Greenwood

Give your kids a night of creativity while you enjoy a little downtime at MashCraft Greenwood! While the little ones are busy, parents can relax, sip, and snack in the taproom. This first-come, first-served event is limited to 30 kids, so arrive early to snag a spot!

Felt Friends Puppet Class with Franklin Parks & Rec

Designed for ages 3–6, this hands-on workshop lets kids design and create their very own felt puppets, with all materials provided. It’s the perfect way to spark imagination and enjoy a fun, crafty morning together. Cost is $10 per child, and registration is now open.

Field Trip: Salvage Sisters with GPL

Join Greenwood Public Library’s Studio Makerspace for a special summer field trip to Salvage Sisters in Franklin! Led by Studio Specialist Sharon, participants will hunt for a thrifted item to upcycle, then reconvene at the GPL Studio on Thursday, August 14th to give it a fresh, creative twist. Participants are responsible for transportation, item purchase, and care. No registration required.

Kernel & Canvas at Once Upon a Kernel
