TOGETHER WITH

Happy Monday! If you stepped outside this morning and thought, Wait… am I… warm?!—you’re not alone. After last week’s deep freeze, a few days in the 50s feels like Mother Nature’s way of apologizing. (Apology accepted, but we’re still side-eyeing you, February.)

Speaking of which—how is this month almost over? Didn’t we just take down the holiday decorations? At this rate, we’ll blink, and it’ll be July. But for now, let’s enjoy this temporary spring preview before winter inevitably remembers it left something behind.

In today’s South Side Scoop:

  • 🥫 Be a SOUPer Hero: JCPL’s Canned Soup Drive runs Feb. 24–Mar. 3—donate at any library branch to help local families in need!

  • 🌸 Spring Activities Are Here: Sign up now for kids' art classes, Southport Little League, and Stage 1 Dance summer camps!

  • 💼 Spring into Business: Local businesses—advertise in South Side Scoop and be the go-to for spring cleaning, landscaping & more!

Let’s get to it!
