Developer Eyeing 69 & Southport Interchange

Possible big news for the South Side! Midland Atlantic Properties is planning a vibrant mix of restaurants, retail spaces, and hotels near the Southport Road and I-69 interchange. With preliminary rezoning approval, construction could start as soon as September, bringing new dining and shopping options by mid-2025.

Greenwood’s Comprehensive Plan

Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers has unveiled a new Comprehensive Plan, the city's first update since 2007, focusing on growth in the eastern corridor and reinvestment in mature areas. Residents are invited to review and provide feedback on the draft at the Greenwood Public Library on Wednesday, July 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mayor Myers emphasizes the plan's community-driven approach, involving city leadership, residents, and HWC Engineering. Indiana State Fair Announcements

The Indiana State Fair is back with themed days, discounts, and free events from Aug. 2 to Aug. 18 (closed Mondays). The Children’s Museum at Greenwood Public Library
