DIGEST
Festival Country Lights Up the Season with $40K in Grants
Festival Country Indiana is spreading serious holiday cheer with over $40,000 in grant funding and sponsorships this month. Highlights include nearly $10,000 to upgrade the courthouse holiday lights in downtown Franklin, boosting their sparkle from 8 to 20 strands just in time for the big December 6th lighting event. Additional funding will continue to support beloved community staples like First Fridays and summer concerts in Franklin and Bargersville. Nonprofits and government groups can still apply for 2025 funds, and new grants tied to America’s 250th anniversary are coming in 2026!
Help Shape Bargersville’s Trail Future
Bargersville is pedaling toward a more walkable, bike-friendly community and they want your input! Town officials and Bargersville Parks and Recreation are hosting a public meeting on the Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan this Tuesday, November 18th from 6–8pm at Bargersville Town Hall. Residents are encouraged to stop by, share their ideas, and help plan safer, more connected trails as the town continues to grow. Your feedback will help lay the groundwork for the future of mobility in Bargersville!
