Center Grove Names New Board Member

The CGCSC Board has appointed Jane Dunigan-Smith to fill the late Gary Robinson's seat, serving through December 2026. Jane, currently Senior VP at BioCrossroads, brings extensive experience and a strong connection to the Center Grove community. She will be sworn in at the August board meeting.

Road Closure on Fairview All Week

Fairview Road will be closed for daytime maintenance at the Indiana Rail Road Bridge from July 22-25, 2024, between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Detours will be available via SR 135, Smith Valley Road, and Peterman Road. I’d anticipate some rush hour delays in this area, so prepare accordingly with your detours!

Buy School Supplies in a Couple of Clicks!

Meijer has an awesome tool in their app and online that quickly lets you search for your child’s school supplies list and add it all to your cart in one click. This makes for a convenient back-to-school shopping trip. I did some spot checks on local schools and found that most of them are on the app. You can search for your child’s school and class here.

Seven Brew Coffee Officially Opens Today!

It’s another grand opening here on the south side, and today it’s Seven Brew! The drive through coffee chain just opened their latest store on the south side at 1120 N. State Road 135.

All week, Seven Brew will be hosting ‘community hours’ in which you get a free small drink. Monday through Friday, these community hours are:

• 7am-8am

• 12pm-1pm

• 5pm-6pm

WHAT’S HAPPENIN’

Chick-Fil-A Southport Cow Tales

Head over to CFA Southport from 930-1030am today and enjoy storytime at 9:40am followed by a craft activity. Each participating child receives a free breakfast coupon for their next visit. Don’t miss out on this delightful event!

Story Time at Bargersville Community Center

Storytime at the Bargersville Community Center is today, Monday, July 22nd, from 11am to noon. This event, held on the 4th Monday of every month, is perfect for young children to explore their imagination and develop early literacy skills. Franklin Family Fun Night - Emmanuel Church

Emmanuel Church in Franklin (Campus, 550 Homestead Blvd. Franklin, Indiana 46131) is hosting a family fun night. There will be a craft fair, food trucks, yard games, and family fun. Admission is free and it runs from 5:30-8pm tonight.
