Spring is Blooming with Big Events This Weekend on the South Side

From Franklin to Greenwood, the South Side is buzzing with activity and we don’t want you to miss it! Old Town Greenwood’s Final Fridays kicks things off Friday night, and Saturday is packed with everything from the season-opening Greenwood Farmers Market to Franklin’s Spring Vintage & Handmade Fest with over 140 local vendors.

Beer lovers can raise a glass at Death & Taxes Day at Taxman Brewing Co., families can catch the first Family Movie Night of the season in Franklin, and community fundraisers are popping up everywhere — including paint parties, plant sales, and more. Whether you're shopping, sipping, strolling, or supporting a cause, there’s something for everyone this weekend! Check out the details below.

Clay Pot Coffee House Hosting Soft Opening This Weekend

There’s a new spot brewing on the South Side! Clay Pot Coffee House is inviting the community to its soft opening this Friday and Saturday, April 25–26, from 7am to 9pm. To celebrate, they’re offering buy one, get one free drinks all day long — the perfect excuse to bring a friend and try something new! Located at 1551 E Stop 12 Rd in Indianapolis, this cozy new café will officially celebrate its Grand Opening on May 17, but you can get a first sip this weekend. Don’t miss it!

Milk & Honey Opens Its Doors This Saturday

Starting this Saturday, Milk & Honey, located at 8505 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, is finally opening its doors for indoor service! After operating as drive-thru only, the cozy coffeehouse is ready to welcome guests inside for the first time. While they’re keeping things simple to start — with disposable cups and pastries only — the team is excited to grow their menu and service in the coming weeks.
