Franklin a Great Place for a Day or Weekend Trip
On Friday, RTV6 highlighted the city of Franklin and all of the activities and events it has available.
Whether itâs watching a movie at the Artcraft, playing at the aquatic center, or going to one of the many locally-owned restaurants - Franklin is bustling with something for everyone.

Whiteland Moving Trash Service This Week
The Town of Whiteland will be switching its trash service this week. July 28th and 29th will be the last day for Republic trash pickup. Republic will be picking up all cans this week.
Starting on the 29th, Best Way will be leaving each resident 1 trash can and 1 recycle can.
Trash date service will remain the same.

South Indy/Greenwoodâs Residence Inn Earns Distinguished Award
The Residence Inn just behind the Kroger on County Line and Emerson earned a distinguished Marriot Diamond Circle Award.
This Award is the most prestigious internal honor for a hotel to receive.
The criteria for the award are based on guest service scores, guestsâ likelihood to recommend, inspection scores, and year-over-year revenue increases.

Wild Eggs Coming to Greenwood
Wild Eggs - a Louisville breakfast/brunch franchise - is coming to Greenwood later this year. While there isnât a hard-and-fast opening date yet, the company plans to open in late 2024.
The Franchise recently opened a restaurant in Avon.
The Wild Eggs will be located at 1279 N Emerson Ave Suite A-1 in front of the Walmart at County Line and Emerson.
Seven Brew Coffeeâs Community Hours
Last week, Seven Brew Coffee officially opened its doors to the south side on 135. This week, theyâre hosting âCommunity Hoursâ in which you get a free small drink. Monday through Friday, these community hours are:
7am-8am
12pm-1pm
5pm-6pm

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Aberdeen Farms monthly pop-up Farmers Market Day! Shop your favorite local farmers market vendors and grab dinner from Happy Taco food truck! While at the market come inside and visit Aberdeen Farm Farm Market for farm fresh eggs, sweet corn, Duke Farms beef, locally sourced specialty foods (pies, BBQ sauces, preserves, honey), and more. The market runs from 4-7 PM.
Tenderloin Pop-Up from Swayzee
Greenwood..... get ready! Here is your chance to stock up your freezer with the best tenderloins around, without having to make the long drive to Swayzee! The delivery van will be parked in the parking lot of Meineke. Frozen packages of tenderloins will be available to the public for purchase in the following package sizes:

Quantities are limited, so don't miss out! Van will be there from 3-430pm. Accepting both cash and card payments.
Pickleball 101
Pickleball 101 begins Tuesday at 6:30pm! If you're new to the game or looking to build your skills, this is the perfect opportunity. Experienced players will explain the rules and basics in a non-competitive environment. Join in at 2722 S. Honey Creek Road, Greenwood, and look for the Pickleball Bus!
