Discover what's happening in Greenwood, Center Grove, Franklin, Bargersville, and beyond this week!
TOGETHER WITH
Well, folks, thereās a foot of snow on the ground, but the roads are finally almost clearābecause nothing says āwinter in Indianaā like a snowplow showing up just in time for spring.
Shovels have been wielded, snowmen have been built (and decapitated by the neighborās dog), and somewhere under all that white, we think thereās still a driveway.
Bundle up, drive safe, and remember: this is why we own snow boots and a questionable number of fleece-lined socks. Stay warm and have a great start to the week!
In todayās South Side Scoop:
š Thank You for Your Feedback - Weāre thrilled by your survey responsesāthank you for sharing your ideas!
šCelebrating Community Heroes & Achievements - Local neighbor rescues two women from an icy pond; CGHS juniors named Rising Stars.

Neighbor Rescues Two Women from Greenwood Pond
A neighbor sprang into action Friday afternoon to rescue two women who fell into an icy Greenwood pond while trying to save their dog. Thankfully, both women and the dog made it out unharmed. The neighbor threw a rope to the women and, with help from Greenwood police, pulled them to safety before firefighters transported them to the hospital in stable condition. This heroic act is a powerful reminder to stay off icy ponds and keep pets and children at a safe distance. A huge thank you to this courageous neighbor for their quick thinking and bravery!
