Free Shredding Day in Franklin – Gather Your Papers Now

Got papers piling up? Here’s your chance to safely declutter! The Johnson County Recycling District is hosting a free shredding event this Thursday, September 25th, from 4–6 pm at the Recycling Center (2250 Graham Rd., Franklin). It’s open to all county residents; just bring your documents for secure disposal (please, no electronics, hazardous waste, or general recycling). Mark your calendars now so you’ve got a few days to gather those old files and clear some space!

The Daily Journal’s annual Southside Neighborhood Cookbook is coming out in mid-October, and they’re looking for reader submissions.
