New Wawa Development Approved in Franklin

Plans for a new Wawa Food Market & Fueling Station in Franklin are moving forward after the City Council unanimously approved a rezoning request at last week’s meeting. The 6,300-square-foot facility, located north of Earlywood Drive near U.S. 31, will include a 24/7 store with a full-service kitchen, fueling stations, and mobile ordering options. The rezoning changes 10.4 acres from industrial to mixed-use, with 3.65 acres allocated for Wawa and the remainder reserved for future commercial use.
