Bargersville Firefighters Spread Holiday Cheer with Good Cheer Baskets

On Saturday morning, the Bargersville Fire Department spread some holiday cheer by delivering Johnson County Good Cheer baskets to those in need! For an incredible 104 years, the Good Cheer program has been a beacon of hope and kindness in the community, and the firefighters played a big part in continuing that legacy. A huge shoutout to these everyday heroes for going above and beyond to make the season brighter for so many!

Party City Closes Its Doors, Including Southside Indianapolis Location

Party City is officially closing all its stores nationwide, including the southside Indianapolis location, marking the end of an era for party supply shopping in our area. After 40 years in business, the company announced it is “winding down” operations immediately due to financial challenges. Despite efforts to stay afloat, including a bankruptcy restructuring in 2023, Party City could not overcome its debt and growing competition from online retailers.
