Franklin just snagged the 2024 Placemaking Award at the AIM Ideas Summit, recognizing it as one of Indiana's standout cities for creating inviting and dynamic spaces. This award is a big deal, as it spotlights Franklin’s ongoing efforts to make the community more appealing for both residents and visitors. Kelsay Farms will continue to be open this week from noon to 6:00pm for fall break, featuring all their usual weekend fun. Perfect for families looking to enjoy extra fall festivities over their break!

Franklin Plan Commission Meeting

The Plan Commission will meet on Tuesday at 6pm to review a rezoning request for a 10.4-acre site at Earlywood Drive and US 31, where Wawa plans to develop. The proposal seeks to change the zoning from industrial to mixed-use to accommodate the new store while maintaining the Gateway Overlay district.
