How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential
Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.
Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.
Founded by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech reshapes the $1.3T vacation home market. They’ve earned $110M+ in gross profit to date, including 41% YoY growth in 2024 alone. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.
The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.

Happy Wednesday, September 3rd!
We’re back! After taking Monday off for Labor Day, the Scoop is here to kick off a busy first week of September. The calendars are filling up, the events are stacking up, and the pumpkin-flavored everything has officially arrived. Let’s dive in and see what this new month has in store.
In today’s South Side Scoop:
🚓 Community Heroes: Greenwood Police, White River Fire, and White Glove Towing team up to safely get a local veteran and his wheelchair home.
🥁 Center Grove Spotlight: WGI features Center Grove Percussion and 7th grader Henry Kirk for their superhero-inspired show.
🚧 Traffic Update: A $2.9M roundabout project is coming to Southport & Five Points in 2026 to ease congestion and improve safety.
Let’s get to it!
THE DIGEST
Community Heroes Help Veteran Get Home Safely
A true southside “feel good” story unfolded this week when a Greenwood Police officer spotted a man in a motorized wheelchair traveling down Smith Valley Road during rush hour. Concerned for safety, the officer called in the White River Township Fire Department, but with the 400-pound chair too heavy to lift, firefighters turned to White Glove Towing for help. While the tow crew carefully transported the wheelchair, the officer gave the gentleman, a Vietnam veteran and double amputee, a ride home. Thanks to quick teamwork and compassion, this veteran made it home safe and sound, showing once again the heart of our community in action!
WGI Shines a Spotlight on Center Grove Percussion and 7th Grade Standout
Center Grove Indoor Percussion is back in the headlines thanks to a brand-new article from WGI highlighting their superhero-inspired show Faded Heroes (watch here). The feature dives into how 13-year-old Henry Kirk, a Center Grove Middle School student and Broadway Across America alum (Les Misérables), helped bring the production to life as its central character. His energy and professionalism stood out, inspiring the older high school performers and helping the ensemble deliver a finals performance that landed them in the top 10. WGI’s coverage gives this already memorable show a new chance to shine.
New Roundabout Coming to Southport & Five Points in 2026
Big changes are on the way for Franklin Township drivers! The Indianapolis Department of Public Works has announced a new roundabout coming to the intersection of Southport Road and Five Points Road in 2026. This $2.9 million project, supported with $1.9 million from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization, aims to ease congestion and improve safety at a spot that saw 64 crashes in just four years. Once complete, the roundabout will help traffic flow more smoothly while prioritizing safety for the whole community.
