Center Grove Unified Track Heads to State Finals with Community Sendoff
Center Groveās Unified Track & Field team is headed to the IHSAA Unified State Finals for the first time in years and theyāre inviting the community to cheer them on! The team will depart CGHS at 9:10am on Saturday, June 7th, and hopes to see supporters lining the route for a spirited send-off. After a season of dedication and determination, this ālast hurrahā is especially meaningful for the seniors. Congratulations to the CG Unified Track & Field team. Weāre so proud of your heart, hustle, and hard work. Go Trojans!
Opportunities to Support Overdose Lifelineās Memorial Golf Outing
The Overdose Lifelineās 11th Annual Memorial Charity Golf Outing is happening Thursday, June 19th at Dyeās Walk Country Club, and thereās still time to get involved! Player registration is open, and additional sponsorships, such as hole sponsors, contest prizes, and silent auction items, are being accepted through June 13th. For donations, please contact Madison Kelleher at [email protected]. This powerful day on the green honors lives lost to overdose and supports critical prevention and recovery efforts across Indiana. End of an Era: Gray Brothers Cafeteria to Officially Close
A beloved Southside staple is saying goodbye. Gray Brothers Cafeteria in Mooresville will officially close its doors this Sunday, June 8. After 80 years of serving up comfort food and community tradition, the Gray family announced that continuing operations is no longer financially sustainable due to rising costs and industry changes. Theyāre inviting customers to stop in one last time this week for a meal and memories. The property remains up for sale, and the family expressed deep gratitude for Mooresville and their loyal patrons.
