National College Application Week, Sept. 23 - 27

Indiana is participating in National College Application Week from September 23-27, allowing high school seniors to apply for free to 30 participating Indiana colleges. This initiative, part of Learn More Indiana’s College GO! campaign, encourages students to apply before early deadlines to increase their chances of receiving financial aid. The event, supported by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the American College Application Campaign, aims to boost college access for first-generation and low-income students. James Patterson Coming to Franklin

James Patterson will visit Franklin on October 23 for a special event at 7 p.m. at the Franklin Community High School Performing Arts Center to discuss his new book, American Heroes. The nonfiction book shares powerful first-person stories from military veterans spanning World War II to Afghanistan. Tickets are $50 and include a signed copy of the book. The Here We Grow Again Indy South Fall/Winter Event is here! Swing by the Johnson County Fairgrounds from Thursday, September 26th to Saturday, September 28th to shop thousands of items from local families—all in one place! Saints Francis & Clare Fall Festival

The 16th Annual Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Parish Fall Festival runs from Thursday, September 26th to Saturday, September 28th, 2024. Thursday is a ride preview night from 4-8PM, while the full festival kicks off Friday with rides, a silent auction, fish fry, and live music from 5-10PM. Saturday's events include a corn hole tournament, live entertainment, and raffles, running from 12-10PM.
