THE DIGEST
A Game to Remember: Community Comes Together at Dusk
In a heartwarming moment of community connection, a group of recent high school grads from Franklin, Greenwood, and Whiteland set aside their school rivalries for a friendly game of basketball at Break-O-Day Park. As the sun set, a Whiteland police officer pulled up and turned on his cruiserâs lights so the game could continue into the evening. It was a small gesture that made a big impact, helping the boys create lasting memories on one of their last nights together. It's a reminder of how simple acts of kindness can bring people together!
