🍦 Long Weekend Vibes: Powered by Extra Coffee & Leftover Chocolate

Discover what's happening in Greenwood, Center Grove, Franklin, Bargersville, and beyond this week!

TOGETHER WITH

Happy Monday, everyone! If you're lucky enough to have the day off for Presidents’ Day, may your plans be as ambitious as George Washington’s or as chill as Abe Lincoln in a rocking chair. If you’re working today—solidarity, coffee, and maybe an extra snack break.

For those still working through Valentine’s candy, remember: calories don’t count when it’s clearance chocolate. And if you’re just here for a fresh start to the week, let’s make it a good one—preferably with minimal emails and maximum good vibes.

In today’s South Side Scoop:

  • 👑 Local Spotlight: Three Johnson County women were named 500 Festival Princesses and Franklin’s Easter Egg Hunt date is set!

  • 🐦Monday Fun: Kids can burn off energy at Co-Op Club’s Open Gym, get creative at JCPL events, or join DJ Trivia at Freddie’s Pub. Plus, the Great Backyard Bird Count invites families to make bird feeders!

  • 🥣 Tuesday Highlights: Join a virtual author talk with Lee Hawkins, warm up at a Soup Night fundraiser, get creative at a painting class, or test your knowledge at trivia nights across Greenwood and Indy!

Let’s get to it!
