Johnson County a Top 10 Healthiest County in America

Johnson County is doing pretty well in the health rankings, coming in at #336 out of over 3,000 counties nationwide. There’s a lot to be proud of—like a strong economy and a high score of 81 in equity. The high school graduation rate is an impressive 93.1%, and the low unemployment rate reflects well for the county. While there’s room to grow in areas like the environment and education, Johnson County has a strong foundation and is on the right path to becoming an even healthier and more vibrant place to live!

Franklin Chamber Foundation Announces Grant Recipients

The Franklin Chamber Foundation recently awarded $30,000 in Small Business Capacity-Building Grants to 12 local businesses, including 10 Pins Franklin, Courthouse Coneys, and Woven Co. Candles.

These grants, funded by the Franklin Economic Development Commission, will help businesses with projects like equipment upgrades, marketing campaigns, and space improvements. The initiative highlights the Chamber's commitment to fostering a vibrant business community and supporting local entrepreneurs in their growth and success.
