Bargersville's annual Harvest Moon Fall Festival is back on Saturday, September 21, from noon to 9 p.m.! Head to Main Street for a day of family fun with live music, food trucks, local crafts, a car cruise-in, and more. This free event is perfect for kicking off the fall season!

Fourteen Johnson County seniors have been named semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. These talented students, from high schools like Center Grove, Franklin, and Whiteland, now aim to advance to finalist status, competing for nearly 7,000 scholarships. Winners will be announced in February!

Bargersville's trail system just expanded with a new 1-mile asphalt trail along Whiteland Road. The town celebrated with a ribbon-cutting at the South Central Soccer Academy, giving residents a safe walking and biking path from Whiteland Road to downtown. This brings the total to 11 miles of trails, perfect for families and fitness groups.

Pickleball courts are coming to Independence Park in Greenwood by May 2025! The Johnson County Board of Commissioners approved a $304,880 bid to install the courts, funded by the county's American Rescue Plan Act allocation. With the sport's rapid growth, the courts will be a great new addition to the park.

A new Valvoline quick oil change facility is coming to Greenwood near East Worthsville Road and U.S. 31. The city's zoning board approved design variances, and the plan commission granted a landscaping waiver, moving the project closer to reality. This will be Valvoline’s second Greenwood location.

The Whiteland Farmer’s Market is tomorrow (Tuesday, September 17th) at the Johnson County Public Library - Clark Pleasant branch. The market runs from 530-730pm.

Pickleball 101 begins Tuesday at 6:30pm! If you're new to the game or looking to build your skills, this is the perfect opportunity.
