Opportunity for Youth Entrepreneurs
Got a budding business whiz at home? The Childrenâs Entrepreneur Market is a fun, hands-on event where kids ages 5â17 run their own booths selling anything from crafts and games to snacks and services! Booths are $25 each per market, and you can register for as many as your entrepreneurial heart desires! Registration is now open for the Franklin market on July 19 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, and spots fill fast. Canât make it? Perry Township Schools Awarded $7.8M for Career-Connected Learning
Perry Township Schools has been awarded a transformative $7.8 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. as part of the Marion County K-12 Public Schools Initiative. The funding will enhance Kâ12 education with a strong focus on career exploration, hands-on learning, and post-secondary success. In partnership with the University of Indianapolis, high school students will gain early exposure to college life and real-world careers. This grant sets the stage for a long-term investment in student success.
