Yes, itâs Wednesday, October 30th, the day before Halloweenâa time when every house in town mysteriously stocks up on âjust-in-caseâ candy, even though we all know itâs mostly for us. If you havenât finalized your costume yet, donât panic: youâre not alone in Googling "last-minute costume ideas" or wondering if âperson overwhelmed by lifeâ counts as spooky attire. (Spoiler: it definitely does.)

Tomorrowâs Trick-or-Treat Hours
Trick-or-treat hours for tomorrow in Johnson County are set from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Bargersville, Franklin, and Whiteland, while Greenwood will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In Marion County, Indianapolis and Southport will both have trick-or-treating from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Get those costumes ready for a fun-filled evening of treats!
Thanksgiving Mobile Market: Free Turkeys and More for Families in Need
The Franciscan Health Foundation will hold a Mobile Market at Sierra Fresh Start Market Food Pantry in Greenwood on November 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. The drive-through market will distribute one frozen turkey and side items per family on a first-come, first-served basis to support families for Thanksgiving. Open to Indiana residents in need of food assistance, the market will also offer free proteins, fruits, vegetables, and grains. Attendees must show proof of Indiana residency. The pantry is located at 1040 Sierra Drive in Greenwood.

Greenwood is getting a sweet treat this Friday, November 1, as Mochinut opens its doors! Known for its unique, chewy mochi donuts, Korean-style hot dogs, and refreshing boba tea, this spot will bring a new snack experience to the area. Mochinut combines Japanese mochi with the classic donut, creating a texture thatâs both soft and chewy. Visitors can look forward to a rotating menu of fun flavors, along with a selection of customizable corn dogs and various boba drink options, making it a must-try stop for food lovers
