Franklin FFA Welding Teams Shine at District VIII Contest

A big congratulations to Franklin FFA’s talented welding teams for their outstanding performance at the District VIII Welding Contest! The duo of Grace Nix and Thomas Gross took 1st place in their division, with Grace earning 1st overall individually and Thomas placing 3rd overall individually. Other teams also impressed, with placements including 6th (Remington Beougher & Lincoln Warner), 7th (Jack Deppe & Trevor Hughes), and 12th (Dodge Cooper & Parker Weinhorst). Grace and Thomas are now headed to the State Welding Contest in January—best of luck as they represent Franklin FFA!

Painting with a Twist, the nation’s largest paint-and-sip studio, is celebrating the grand opening of its newest location in Greenwood on Wednesday, December 11th. This fun and creative concept, led by local artists, offers guests a chance to connect, unwind, and turn blank canvases into masterpieces in a step-by-step process. Greenwood’s new studio is owned by entrepreneur Kerry Reinoehl, who also operates a studio in Carmel. Welcome to a new hub of creativity and connection in Greenwood!
