FREE GAS?!
Legacy Church in Greenwood is already making a significant impact on the community, even before launching its services. Demonstrating their commitment to service, the church organized a giveaway, distributing $25 worth of free gas to 80 people and 150 backpacks filled with school supplies for children.
“We wanted to serve before we even started a service,” said Pastor Dereck Frymier. The church aims to give away 500 backpacks next year and plans to hold monthly events like this. Legacy Church will officially launch on Sunday, Aug. 18, at Greenwood Christian Academy.
