Duke Energy Powers Up Greenwood Fire Department
The Greenwood Fire Department just got a big boost thanks to a $33,000 donation from Duke Energy. The funding allowed the department to purchase brand-new rope rescue equipment, enhancing their ability to respond to technical rescues across the community. Chief Jayme Washel shared that this support will make a lasting impact on the safety of Greenwood’s citizens, workers, and visitors. A big thank-you to Duke Energy for helping keep our community safer and stronger!
