Greenwood Fire Dept. 'Push-In' Ceremony for New High-Tech Tiller Truck
The Greenwood Fire Department (GFD) is hosting a "Push-In" ceremony this Friday, October 4 at 1 p.m. for their new Seagrave tractor-drawn Tiller truck at Station 91. This impressive truck features a 100-foot ladder and state-of-the-art rescue equipment, consolidating tools that were previously spread across multiple vehicles. The unique Tiller design includes two drivers, allowing for better maneuverability in tight spaces. The "Push-In" tradition dates back to the days of horse-drawn fire apparatus and symbolizes officially putting the truck into service. The event celebrates community and city officials' shared commitment to public safety.

Indy All Stars South, a top-tier dance studio, is opening in Center Grove! This new facility will offer high-quality dance training led by coaches with collegiate and professional dance experience.
