TOGETHER WITH

Well, well, well… if it isn’t Monday again. The weekend gave us summer on Saturday, fall on Sunday, and now Monday’s just sitting here with a confused cup of lukewarm coffee, wondering what season it’s supposed to dress for. If you layered up today, good call. If you didn’t, good call. (Does anyone REALLY know how to dress right now?) Welcome to mid-October in Indiana, where the only predictable thing is the unpredictability.

In today’s South Side Scoop:

  • 🎃 Most of the South Side’s trunk-or-treats, costume parties & fall festivals are happening this weekend (Oct. 24th–26th) — not on Halloween night!

  • 🏆 The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its annual community impact and service awards.

  • 🏈 High school football season wraps up as teams gear up for sectionals and playoffs.

Let’s get to it!

DIGEST

Heads Up, Parents: Halloween Weekend Is THIS Weekend!

Halloween may technically fall on Friday, October 31st, but the real spooky fun is happening this weekend, October 24th–26th! Most of the trunk-or-treats, costume parties, and fall festivals are happening early this year, which means if your kid’s costume is still in your online cart… it’s officially crunch time.

We’re just here to make sure you don’t miss a thing (and to agree that it’s downright cruel to expect parents to have costumes ready a full week before Halloween). Check out our full list of Halloween weekend happenings on our website so you can plan accordingly!
