Well, that escalated quickly. We went from 60 and sunny to a high of 38 with snow in the forecast. So if you feel personally attacked by the weather, youāre not alone. Roncalli Volleyball Crowned State Champions Once Again
The Roncalli Royals capped off an incredible season by claiming the Class 3A State Championship this past weekend! Despite trailing Fort Wayne Dwenger in all three sets, the Royals showed grit and determination, rallying each time to win 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-19). This victory marks Roncalliās fifth state title in program history and they remain a perfect 5-0 in championship matches. A huge congratulations to the Royals on another dominant and well-deserved finish to their season!
Bargersville Launches Toy Collection for Christmas Angels Program
As part of its new Yuletide on Baldwin celebration, the Town of Bargersville is collecting new, unwrapped toys to support the United Way of Johnson County Christmas Angels program. Items for kids ages 0ā17 (like toys, books, and games) can be donated at four locations around town through December 7th. All donations will be delivered to United Way on December 8th. Last year, the Christmas Angels program served more than 1,300 children across Johnson County.
Franklin Parks & Rec Collecting Toys for United Way's Angel Story Drive
Now through December 6th, Franklin Parks and Recreation is accepting new toy donations for the United Way of Johnson Countyās Angel Story Toy Drive. Donations can be dropped off at the Cultural Arts and Recreation Center, where each toy earns a raffle ticket for a chance to win a free family pass to the Franklin Family Aquatic Center. Weekly drawings begin November 12th. You can also donate during the Franklin Holiday Lighting on December 6th.

Four southside teams battled it out under the Friday night lights in the sectional championships, and what a night it was! Two of our local powerhouses came out on top and are moving on to the regional championships this Friday!
