New Retail Center at Sheek and Worthsville Road Moves Forward

Plans for a new 182,000-square-foot retail center at the southwest corner of Sheek and Worthsville Road in Greenwood are progressing. The development, on 4.18 acres purchased from Light of Life Lutheran Church, will feature one-story spaces for restaurants, retail, or a grocery store, and a two-story space with retail and office areas. The Greenwood Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously approved a variance to increase the allowed lot size. A 40-foot greenery buffer along the property’s southwestern border will remain intact, with public input opportunities planned during the next steps of approval.
