DIGEST
Southport Students Launch “Cardinal Crunch” Popcorn
Southport High School marketing students recently celebrated the launch of their new product, “Cardinal Crunch,” a caramel and churro-flavored gourmet popcorn. The ribbon cutting took place at the Kroger located at Emerson Avenue and County Line Road, with local media in attendance to capture the moment. Led by marketing teacher Don Manning, the student-driven initiative is not only a hands-on business experience but also supports Southport athletics, with all profits benefiting the program. It’s inspiring to see students making a real-world impact—this is an accomplishment they should be proud of. Cardinal Crunch is available at the Kroger location and at SHS athletic events.
Devour Indy Winterfest Kicks Off January 19th
Devour Indy Winterfest runs January 19th through February 1st, offering a chance to enjoy specially priced, multi-course menus at top restaurants across the city. It’s a great opportunity to try something new or revisit a favorite while supporting the local hospitality industry. Ten Southside restaurants are participating this year, including Stone Creek Dining Company, Brozinni Pizzeria Southside, Ten Cuts Brazilian Steakhouse, and more.
