Traffic Alert: S.R. 135 Bridge Work Begins March 3

Heads up, Greenwood drivers! INDOT contractors will kick off a bridge deck overlay project on State Road 135 between County Line Road and Fairview Road starting Monday, March 3. The work, part of a $3.7 million project by Milestone Contractors, will happen in three phases and should wrap up by late June, weather permitting.

Expect lane closures and turn restrictions in the area, including:

🚫 No right or left turns from southbound S.R. 135 onto Fry Road

🚫 No left turns from northbound S.R. 135 onto Fry Road

✅ Right turns from northbound S.R. 135 onto Fry Road still allowed

🚧 S.R. 135 reduced to one lane in each direction between Stonegate Drive & Michele Lane

🚧 West side entrance to Fry Road closed

INDOT will post signs before construction starts, and updates will follow as work progresses. In the meantime, slow down, stay alert, and plan for delays in the area!
