UIndy Dance Brings Home Third National Title
The University of Indianapolis Dance Team dominated the floor at this yearâs College Classic in Orlando, hosted by Dance Team Union. Facing off against programs from across all NCAA divisions, NAIA schools, and junior colleges, the Greyhounds clinched 1st place in the Team Performance division and placed 5th in Pom. The competition, held at the Orange County Convention Center, featured top teams in jazz, hip-hop, pom, and team performance. With this win, UIndy celebrates its third national title â and another standout season! Congratulations!
Phase 2 Begins on S.R. 135 Bridge Project
Milestone Contractors is continuing a bridge deck overlay project on State Road 135 in Greenwood, between County Line Road and Fairview Road. Phase 2 begins on or after April 30 and includes lane shifts that reduce traffic to one lane in each direction between Michele Lane and Stonegate Drive. Some turn restrictions will be in place at Fry Road during construction. The $3.7 million project is expected to wrap up by late June, weather permitting. Stay safe out there South Siders and donât forget to be kind and let your neighbor merge!
